MACARONI RECIPES
hello and welcome to todd's kitchen i have never been a fan of pre packaged meals today im going to show you how to make some thing from scratch and i guarantee its going to taste so much better then the pre packaged stuff you buy from the shops so join me as i make my version of macaroni and cheese so i have a pot of boiling hot water on the stove. so the first thing im going to do is cook our pasta you want to cook it until its al dente which means not to hard and not to soft
and it should take about ten minutes give or take so check it around the 8 minute mark next into a pot on a medium heat we are going to place in our butter and we are going to let this melt down now that the butter has melted we are going to pour in our milk then put in our all purpose flour then whisk it through to all the flour has completely dissolved
another flowers dissolved we are going to keep mixing this until it comes to a boil once it comes to a boil we are going to turn it down to a simmer now that i have lowered the temperature it is now simmering away so keep stirring for another 2 minutes and after that two minutes we are going to take it off the heat now that i have taken it off the stove we are now going to add in our cheese and we are going to mix this through until the cheese has melted and nicely combined
now that the cheese has melted we are going to grab our pasta that i have drained and we are going to put that straight into the pot and give it a good mix around and its done. and that took about ten minutes now you may not realise this but it takes the same amount of time to make a proper one as it does to make a pre packaged one, because most of the time is boiling the pasta.
but guarantee you every time this way is going to taste one hundred times better but i want to give it a try right now that is so good all i can say is that is a very authentic taste it is so creamy so cheesy so delicious but above all
it tastes simply delicious now if you choose you can add some fresh parsley to it as well as some salt but for me personally i prefer it as is i don't like to take the taste away from that lovely creamy cheese thank you for watching this episode of todd's kitchen, a list of ingredients are down below as well as links to my facebook, twitter and google+ pages. please do my a favour by giving this video a thumbs up and leave a comment and i will see you next time for another delicious recipe.
