Top 10 Best Brownie Recipes

hi guys. i'm lorraine pascale and i'm going to show you today the most beautiful brownie recipe. it's vegan it's refined sugar-free, and it's gluten-free and it has a hidden ingredient in it. carrot. weird iknow, but it really, really tastes good. now this is a fabulous thing to make say if you're going to the office. a little gift for people in the office, have it in your fridge as a naughty but healthier snack. and great for the kiddies too. so let's get started. so you start off with a food processor. you really do need a food

processor for this, because there's a lot of sort of blitzing and and making stuff intopowder. i've got 30 grams of oats. these are gluten free oats. pop these in. then 260 grams of dates. all the stones are out already. these dates give you a wonderful sweetness and they are still a sugar but they are not a refined sugar, so there a little bit better for you. so i'm going to blitz that altogether and it's incredibly noisy.

really noisy isn't it? okay. so i'm looking for a finer mixture. if you look here it's still a bit crumbly and big. so more blitzing. right. now if i just show you. you can see. it's gone into a kind of mush. and that mush is what you're looking for. pop that back in. and i've got a tablespoon of water. so i've got the oats and the dates in there, and then carrots.

just snap the carrots in. the carrots not only give you all that vitamin a but they give a wonderful moisture tothese brownies and extra sweetness. so i'm going to blitz this again, but i do in stages. i tried tobung it all in at once when i was testing the recipe, and it didn't work. so you have to kind of do it bit by bit so it all mixes in nicely. they've gone like this kind of now orange mush, like that. and it's adding all that beautiful moisture, and extra flavour, to your brownie.

now in goes 60 grams of ground almonds, and then i'm using cashew nuts, but you can use macadamias nuts, almonds, hazelnuts, justwhatever your favorite nut is. macadamia nuts do have a lot of fat in,so i'd probably use about 40 grams less. but cashews are my favorite nut. so they're going in along with 60 gramsof cocoa powder. i'm going to blitz again. and it was like going around really, really, quickly

and when it kind of starts to chug around, chug around, the food processor, that means that you are pretty much there. and you've got wonderful chunks of the cashew nuts in there. pecans are really good too. i've put nuts in there to get an extra texture and they also gave the element of fatthat you usually have from a butter or oil. so that is ready. so good! it really is so good. my daughter, erm,

i told her that these had carrots in and she didn't believe it. she said they taste too good to have carrots in. so when you're making conventionalbrownies obviously at this stage they go into theoven, but these go into the freezer, so it makes them extra special, and really easy. you don't have to turn the oven on to make them. scrape it all into a lined tin, and this is a 20x20cm square tin. and i lined it with baking parchment andthen sprayed it with lightest spray of oil. and then you kinda gotta squidge it down flat.

like that. i've got this palette knife which is one of myfavorite implements. so squidge it down, and if you find that it keeps sticking to the palette knife, because it is a lovely gooey, sticky mixture, just run it under the tap, like that, and then you'll be able to move it around more easily. there you go, that's lovely and smooth. a nice amount of mixture on the knife for me to have later, and i'll just put that into the freezer for about a minimum of 15

and a maximum of two hours. okay, so here are the brownies. they are nice and firm. they've been in the freezer for about 30 minutes and now i'm just going to cut them up. pop them out like that. peel down the edges, and then i'm gonna cut into 16 little squares, because they're actually quite rich. it's a kind of fudgey spongy texture. it's not really, really rock solid.

it's nice and easy to cut if you've got a nice sharp knife. try to get it nice and even. and then i like to add a splash of colour to the brownies. you can put toasted coconut, or some pomegranates. i've got some pomegranates here. lovely deep red. or these goji berries. these magicalmystical new berries that everyone's talking about. packed withantioxidants and all goodness. so i'm going to put some of those on top of each brownie to give a splash of colour. or you can just have them plain.

whatever takes your fancy. and we do need to store these in the fridge because as they do warm up they do go very, very soft. as is the nature of raw desserts. so lets pop these on a plate. i'll move that up there. there are my gluten-free, refined sugar-free, raw vegan brownies, and a they have bags of flavour. i do hope you've enjoy this recipe. give me a like if you have. share it on your social media see other people think and put a comment in the box below. i really love hearing what you

think about recipes. how you do yourbrownies. what you'd like to see more of and subscribe to the food tube channel.now i'm going to have to have a bite of one of these, because they're just screaming eat me! mmm so good!
